- I texted Joe but never got a reply.
- Almost always the same thing: your carrier has this number on its opt-out list, so texts from us are blocked until you opt back in. This can happen even if you never messaged Joe — the block lives with your carrier, not with us. One text fixes it: reply START to +1 (844) 701-0203 and Joe can reach you again.
- Joe got my timezone or city wrong.
- Just text your city or ZIP anytime — like “Chicago” or “94107” — and Joe fixes it on the spot. No command needed.
- How do I stop the reminders?
- Joe only ever texts your own reminders — no marketing, nothing else. So clear them: reply DELETE ALL and every one goes, recurring ones included (Joe confirms first). Want to be sure? Text LIST — if it comes back empty, there’s nothing left to reach you.
- Do I need to download an app?
- Nope. Joe is just text messages. Nothing to install, no account to log into, no password to forget.
- A reminder came at the wrong time.
- Joe reminds you to the minute, in your timezone. If you ever give a bare hour like “8”, he’ll double-check whether you mean AM or PM — just reply “8pm” and it’s set.
